This year's Law Day theme is "Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100." Passed by the U.S. Congress on June 4, 1919, and ratified on Aug. 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote, 72 years after the struggle for women's suffrage began.

"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied

or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex."
