Parts of upstate New York have met state benchmarks that would allow them to reopen their economies following lockdowns imposed under "New York State on Pause" executive orders, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
The announcement means law firms in those regions—the Finger Lakes, the Mohawk Valley and the Southern Tier—could be on a quicker route toward reopening their offices compared to hard-hit downstate New York.
