Plans for the resumption of in-person visits at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center are not yet finalized, assistant U.S. attorneys representing the Federal Bureau of Prisons wrote in a letter to a district judge Wednesday.

The MDC has created a draft plan for in-person visits and the facility’s management is currently reviewing it, according to the letter, while MCC staff are still developing their plan.
