A lawsuit objecting to the treatment of inmates at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center amid the coronavirus pandemic was dismissed Wednesday after all the named plaintiffs were released, but the inmates' attorneys warned that "serious questions" about conditions inside the facility remain.

U.S. District Judge Rachel Kovner of the Eastern District of New York ordered the dismissal after the inmates' attorneys filed notice of voluntary dismissal Wednesday, ending the proposed class action lawsuit filed in late March against MDC warden Derek Edge.
