New York's state court system is working with federal judicial officials to move forward legislation that would shield judges' personal information from the public, Chief Judge Janet DiFiore said in a video released Monday.
DiFiore's comments come weeks after an "anti-feminist" lawyer was named as the primary suspect in a shooting that killed a federal judge's son and injured her husband.
