The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has agreed to stay enforcement of a grand jury subpoena for President Donald Trump’s financial records until 5 p.m. on the second calendar day after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issues a decision on the matter, according to court filings.

The letter was filed in the Second Circuit after Judge Denny Chin on Friday denied Trump’s request for an immediate administrative stay of the subpoena. A three-judge panel will hear Trump’s motion for a stay on Sept. 1, Chin wrote.
