New York's top court on Wednesday is scheduled to hear arguments in a case where a state disciplinary commission concluded that an upstate judge should be removed from the bench.
The case centers on Family Court Judge Richard Miller II in Broome County, who failed to disclose tens of thousands of dollars on his tax returns, according to the Commission on Judicial Conduct. The disciplinary commission also found the judge made sexist remarks to a female court clerk.
