What the public already knows about alleged misconduct by the Trump Organization through media reports amply supports a grand jury subpoena seeking financial records, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said in a brief filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Monday.
Attorneys with District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.'s office said those open sources show U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero correctly dismissed President Donald Trump's objections earlier this year in the wake of a key U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
