A New York state court system memorandum said Gov. Andrew Cuomo is cutting the judiciary budget by about $300 million as the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic reaches the courts.
In a memorandum dated Tuesday, Chief Administrative Judge Lawrence Marks characterized the cut as “dramatic” and said it has compelled them to “implement a range of painful measures.”
