The Thomas More Society, a conservative legal group, is asking a federal court for a temporary restraining order to prevent New York officials from enforcing coronavirus gathering restrictions on certain houses of worship.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo is facing a string of lawsuits after ordering restrictions for pockets of the state with coronavirus clusters. Those lawsuits, however, were filed in the federal Eastern District of New York.
