What are some of the firm's most satisfying successes of the past year and why? Hands-down, Proskauer Prep. It is designed to reset the table by providing tools and the support for women to succeed in law school and beyond. There is a presumption that people who are talented enough to get into a law school program are prepared for what is it to come. That view fails to appreciate the circumstances and adversity many people from nonprivileged backgrounds have overcome and the challenges that remain. For many incoming law students this is an entirely new world. Proskauer Prep is our attempt to marry the intellect, talent and drive to succeed that young women bring to the table with a level of preparation, exposure-to and knowledge about the legal profession, resources, and opportunities they may not have otherwise.
