With two weeks to go until the Election Day, a New York State Bar Association task force released a report Tuesday detailing the process for electing the next president, as anticipated disputes in key battleground states threaten to drag the contest well beyond Nov. 3.

The report, compiled by the bar association's Task Force on the Presidential Election, offered a road map for attorneys and the public to understand the potential statutory and constitutional issues surrounding the election, which will be marked by an unprecedented wave of mail-in ballots amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
