Practice Profile: Katie is a seasoned litigator and most recently led the team prosecuting a securities class actions against FleetCor Technologies, which just settled for $50M, and SunEdison, which settled for $74 million. She is currently leading the teams prosecuting cases against Boeing, Kraft Heinz, Spectrum Brands, and Novo Nordisk. She played a key role in two of the firm's largest cases in its history: in a case against Merck, her small trial team achieved a $1B+ settlement – one of the top 10 recoveries of all time, and the largest recovery ever achieved against a pharmaceutical company. She was also a member of the trial team prosecuting the case against Bank of America, which resulted in a recovery of $2.425 billion, and was a senior member of the team that led the securities litigation concerning Wilmington Trust, which resulted in a $210 million recovery for the class.

Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Katie has taken on a significant leadership role within the firm. She spearheads the firm's efforts at attorney development and has created a series of substantive training programs for the firm's associates on various aspects of litigation. Katie is also the co-founder and organizer of BLB&G's Women's Forum, a day-long program of education, empowerment and networking for women in securities law.
