Practice Profile: Marisa Sotomayor has over a decade of experience representing banks, alternative and non-traditional lenders, private equity sponsors and institutional borrowers in a wide range of financing transactions across all industry sectors.  She advises at all stages of corporate lending transactions, from initial financing to restructurings and workouts, delivering full-service "cradle to grave" expertise to her clients.  In addition to her traditional financing experience, she has a practice niche advising lenders in syndicated loans in the power and energy projects space.

Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Marisa is a leader in the firm and among her peers.  Unique for a young partner, she is the corporate relationship partner managing the firm's global relationship with Barclays, a key institutional client.  She currently leads the PH women's affinity group, is the former global chair of the firm's Global Women's Initiative, and sits on the firm's global Diversity Council.  Her active pro bono work includes advising impact investors and micro-philanthropy businesses in corporate and finance matters.
