The campaign committee for New York Senate Democrats is dishing out big money to protect key incumbents as their members face Republican challengers and a well-funded group attacking the lawmakers' record on criminal justice issues.
The campaign committee for the state Senate Democrats has pumped more than $1.3 million since late September into the reelection campaigns of four incumbents: Andrew Gounardes, Monica Martinez, James Gaughran and Jen Metzger.
