Maybe the President's legal challenges will fail, but they sure don't seem far-fetched, baseless or frivolous to me. Yet that is the starting point of a recent editorial, and the Law Journal's default editorial position.

I'm writing in response to Lauren Stiller Rikleen's commentary, "Now is the Time for Bar Associations to Come to the Aid of Their Country", published in the print edition of the New York Law Journal on November 19th. I write, in addition, more generally in response to the Journal's editorial bias against all things Trump.
Ms. Rikleen's general sentiments are sound. Lawyers should favor the rule of law. Lawyers should seek out and advocate for truth. That's our job. That's implicit in the oaths of office we take, and in the rules of professional conduct we aspire to follow.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
