Ghislaine Maxwell has filed a renewed bail motion seeking her release from a Brooklyn federal jail ahead of an upcoming trial on charges that she had helped deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein operate a long-running underage sex-trafficking ring.

The submission, filed late Monday evening in Manhattan federal court, touted Maxwell’s “deep family ties” to the United States and put forward a proposed $28.5 million bail package that her attorneys said “far exceeds what is reasonably necessary” to assure her presence in court.
