On Tuesday, the first day of the New York State Bar Association’s two-week annual meeting, a panel gathered via Zoom to discuss the ethical issues attorneys must weigh in deciding whether to accept a potentially “frivolous or questionable” case.

The topic seemed particularly timely, panelists acknowledged, amid nationwide scrutiny on the cases filed by President Donald Trump to challenge the result of the 2020 presidential election and related matters.
