Top court officials were left in the dark about a settlement agreement in a case where a New York court officer, who remains employed, made a Facebook post that implied George Floyd "deserved what he got."
"Upon reviewing the underlying facts and circumstances, they will make a determination whether the case needs to be reopened and further disciplinary action needs to be taken," according to a statement sent Sunday by state court spokesman Lucian Chalfen.
