The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit announced this week that it had appointed David Jones, the former deputy chief of the civil division in the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld partner Lisa Beckerman to serve as federal bankruptcy judges in the Southern District of New York.
