A former student at the Dalton School on Wednesday sued the Upper East Side private school in Manhattan Supreme Court under the Child Victims Act, alleging that she was sexually assaulted by the school’s former headmaster in the late 1980s.

The student, who was identified in the complaint only by her initials, is represented by Mariann Wang of Cuti Hecker Wang, who wrote that her client was 14 years old when she was offered a scholarship to the ninth grade at Dalton.
