Amazon, NY AG James Square Off in Lawsuits Over COVID-19 Worker Safety, Retaliation
The suit, which was filed in New York County Supreme Court, comes after Amazon sued James on Feb. 12 in the Eastern District of New York. In that complaint, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher partner Zainab Ahmad argued that James was illegally attempting to subject Amazon to state oversight of activities governed by federal law.

New York Attorney General Letitia James on Wednesday sued the e-commerce giant Amazon over worker safety violations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, arguing that the company illegally retaliated against employees who raised concerns.
