Woman writing on notebook. Many thanks for so promptly printing my letter on February 10th. I write simply to clarify the role of the Mental Health Professional Certification Committee on which I serve. Our committee has resolved, and continues to resolve, any complaints that come before us. My reference to the sole appellate judicial decision cited was not intended to create the erroneous impression that the committee does not do its work. It does and resolves all matters brought to its attention.

The missing information that my letter referred to is the fact that much of the bar and the bench are unaware of the committee’s function. As noted in my letter I have discussed this matter with many experienced matrimonial litigators, and the judiciary, who complained of their total lack of information regarding this important matter.
