New York-based class action firm Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz sued the owner of its longtime home at 270 Madison Ave. in state court Wednesday, alleging that the landlord has failed to meet obligations to install a new air conditioning and ventilation system.

The firm emphasized that unlike a flurry of recent law firm actions targeting their landlords, that the dispute had nothing to do with the disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
