A state appeals court on Tuesday suspended ex-New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s law license for one year, citing mitigating factors and writing that the parties involved found no other disciplinary case on point.

But the Appellate Division, First Department also laid out facts that described Schneiderman slapping girlfriends, putting his hands around their necks and pressing, and otherwise physically and emotionally abusing them.
