Three midlevel appellate judges, two private practice attorneys, a Court of Claims judge and an administrative judge are among the candidates to fill a vacancy on New York’s highest court.
The seven candidates have made the shortlist to take the seat held by former Court of Appeals Judge Paul Feinman, who died after abruptly retiring from the court due to health concerns.
