All of the candidates for New York’s top court lack “significant experience representing individual criminal defendants,” according to the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

The statewide organization expressed that disappointment on Thursday even as it announced overall positive ratings for the candidates vying to succeed former Judge Paul Feinman, who died earlier this year after abruptly retiring from the Court of Appeals due to health concerns.
