Richard Morvillo and nephew Scott Morvillo’s three-and-a-half-year stint at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has come to an end as the pair and one other attorney from their original firm, Morvillo LLP, jump to Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Richard Morvillo joins Stroock in Washington, D.C., as head of the firm’s white-collar and investigations practice. A former branch chief with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, Richard Morvillo has been involved in several high-profile matters involving Enron, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Liberty Media, Capital One and Prestige Brands.
