Candidates for state Supreme Court have tens of thousands of dollars on hand as they inch closer to judicial conventions in early August, campaign finance figures showed on Thursday.

Perhaps the most high-profile state Supreme Court judge running for reelection is Appellate Division, Third Department Justice Molly Fitzgerald, who has raised more than $11,000 so far this year. Her campaign has also taken out a $50,000 loan, according to public finance records.
