Thomas Barrack, the chairman of former President Donald Trump’s 2017 inaugural committee, pleaded not guilty to several charges, including acting as an agent of a foreign government without notifying the attorney general and obstruction of justice, at an arraignment in Brooklyn federal court Monday.

Barrack, who is the founder and former CEO of the real estate investment firm Colony Capital, was arrested July 20 in California and released days later on a $250 million bond. Colony Capital recently rebranded as DigitalBridge.
