New York’s state court system will require judges and court workers to either get vaccinated or undergo regular coronavirus testing as cases surge nationwide with the virulent delta variant.

Coronavirus cases are swelling upward at the national level as the delta variant capitalizes on lackluster vaccination rates. Cases are on the upswing in New York too, where less than 60 percent of all people have completed their vaccination series, according to state figures.
