Health care technology company Koninklijke Philips, its CEO Frans van Houten and its CFO Abhijit Bhattacharya were slapped with a securities class action Monday in New York Eastern District Court. The suit, filed by Pomerantz LLP, alleges that the defendants failed to disclose safety hazards related to CPAP and BiPAP breathing devices. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-04597, Patel v. Koninklijke Philips N.V. et al.
