McDermott Will & Emery tax partner Alysse McLoughlin has left the firm to join Jones Walker, splitting her time between New York and New Orleans, where the firm is headquartered.

McLoughlin, who represents financial services companies and other corporations in state and local tax matters, said she believes that most of her existing clientele is following her to Jones Walker. She first joined McDermott in 1996 and left after a decade to pursue in-house roles at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. She rejoined the firm in 2014.
