Shearman & Sterling and Michael Best & Friedrich filed a trademark lawsuit Wednesday in New York Southern District Court on behalf of contact lens seller 1-800 Contacts. The suit accuses Warby Parker parent company Jand Inc. of using the plaintiff's trademarks as keywords to manipulate search engine results. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:21-cv-06966, 1-800 Contacts Inc. v. Jand Inc., d/b/a Warby Parker.
