Consumers may be buying lemons when purchasing this brand of citrus-flavored sparkling water, a plaintiff alleges in a proposed class-action suit.

BlueTriton Brands, a bottled water company that includes Arrowhead, Deer Park, Poland Spring and other brands, was sued Sunday in New York Southern District Court over its flavored San Pellegrino water. The complaint, filed by Sheehan & Associates, alleges that the product's labeling falsely suggests that it includes a significant quantity of real lemon ingredients. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:21-cv-07255, Angeles v. BlueTriton Brands Inc.
