Kirkland & Ellis has added a partner from Willkie Farr & Gallagher who specializes in asset management mergers and acquisitions, one of a string of Big Law hires in the Big Apple this week that includes moves by Allen & Overy and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

The top-ranked Am Law firm announced Wednesday it has hired Bradley Friedman, calling him one of “the most experienced lawyers in the country for asset management M&A and sales of GP interests,” to its office in New York.
