Weil, Gotshal & Manges has brought on a new employment litigation practice head, bringing on a longtime Proskauer Rose attorney, based in New York.
John Barry, a 15-year veteran of Proskauer, was the operating partner of his former firm's labor and employment law department and co-chairman of the firm's noncompete and trade secrets group. His practice includes complex employment, restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, according to his new firm.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
