The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has upheld the conviction of Joseph Percoco, an ex-top aide to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who was convicted of federal corruption charges in 2018.

A three-judge panel of the Manhattan-based appeals court said Wednesday that Percoco, a former executive deputy secretary in the Cuomo administration, could not unwind his March 2018 conviction on charges of honest-services wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and soliciting bribes in connection with two schemes involving companies that had business before the state.
