Igor Fruman, a former associate of Rudy Giuliani who worked to dig up damaging political information on President Joe Biden in Ukraine, pleaded guilty Friday to one charge of soliciting political donations from a foreign national.

The change-of-plea hearing came one month before Fruman was set to stand trial for his role in a campaign finance scheme involving Lev Parnas, another associate of Giuliani who later became an outspoken critic of the ex-New York City mayor and former President Donald Trump.
