Lawyers On the Move
- Jared Kelly has joined Lowenstein Sandler as partner in the firm's capital markets & securities practice. Before joining, he was a partner at Reed Smith.
- Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has added Leonard Lipsky as a partner with the firm's corporate practice group and healthcare industry team. He was formerly with Epstein Becker & Green.
- Trade attorney Russell Semmel has joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner as counsel. He joins from Arent Fox.
- K&L Gates has added Josh Berick as a partner in its corporate practice area, and Jacqueline Duval as a partner in its asset management and investment funds practice area. Berick arrives from Jones Day. Duval was previously with Herrick Feinstein, where she was chair of that firm's family office practice group.
- Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky has joined BakerHostetler as counsel and member of the firm's litigation practice group. He joins from Alston & Bird.
- Media boutique firm Klaris has added Lance Koonce, Robert Bertsche, and Katherine Surprenant as partners. Koonce joins from Davis Wright Tremaine. Bertsche joins from Prince Lobel Tye. Surprenant was formerly general counsel, national media & marketing, for Meredith Corporation. Also joining the firm is Jocelyn Hanamirian, who will serve as counsel, and Louise Carron and Josef Ghosn, who join as associates.
- Scott Saks has joined Norton Rose Fulbright as a partner with a focus on securities, capital markets and corporate finance. He was formerly with Troutman Pepper.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
