Fast forward, though hyperlinking is not universally required—in the trial courts limited to the Commercial Division—I'm nonetheless hyperlinking almost everything in sight.

Hyperlinks are links to external URLs (website page addresses), whereas bookmarks are links to reference points within the same document. We here address hyperlinks.

Why Now?

A confluence of rules amendments, electronic filing, and the pandemic has brought the subject to the fore, fundamentally changing how I craft motions: hyperlinks instead of exhibits wherever possible, and to important sources.
