The attorneys charged with firebombing a New York City Police Department vehicle during protests for racial justice in Brooklyn in May 2020 have reached a plea agreement with prosecutors, counsel for one attorney confirmed Tuesday.

Colinford Mattis, who was suspended from his job as an associate at Pryor Cashman pending the outcome of the criminal case, and tenants’ attorney Urooj Rahman are set to plead guilty to one count of possessing or making a destructive device, Rahman’s lawyer Paul Shechtman of Bracewell confirmed.
