A Queens business put its customers in a smoke screen as to who manufactured their e-cigs, JUUL alleges in a lawsuit filed in the Eastern District of New York.

JUUL Labs sued Empire Smoke Distributors Tuesday over trademark claims. The lawsuit, brought by Rath, Young and Pignatelli and Clement and Ho, accuses Empire of selling counterfeit JUUL products. Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-05384, JUUL Labs, Inc. v. Koya.
