Katherine J. Berris of Paul Hastings has entered an appearance for Eastman Kodak CEO James V. Continenza in a pending shareholder lawsuit for alleged insider trading. The action, which follows on top of a New York State attorney general investigation of Continenza, was filed Sept. 2 in New York Western District Court by Abraham, Fruchter & Twersky on behalf of Herbert Silverberg, a shareholder of Eastman Kodak Co. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford, is 6:21-cv-06567, Silverberg v. Continenza et al.

State Attorney General Letitia James’ office has a pending suit against the Rochester-based Kodak pending in Manhattan Supreme Court in which it alleges that Continenza bought company stock after filing a confidential application to the federal government for a $655 million loan.
