Clare Locke is again taking aim at a media company for alleged defamation, this time teaming up with Delaware’s Farnan LLP to sue Vice Media on behalf of gunshot detection company ShotSpotter Inc.

The complaint, filed late Monday and seeking at least $300 million, claims Vice deliberately twisted court records and other evidence to put out a narrative that California-based ShotSpotter conspired with contracted police to frame people for crimes, despite being shown evidence to the contrary both before and after publication of a story earlier this year.
