A Manhattan federal jury on Friday found Lev Parnas, the former associate of ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, guilty in a scheme to funnel foreign money into U.S. elections in 2018.

The verdict came at the end of a week-long trial, in which federal prosecutors and defense attorneys laid out vastly different narratives about how Parnas and his co-defendant, Andrey Kukushkin, had leveraged their political and financial connections in the high-powered world of Republican fundraising.
