Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr has further bolstered its M&A and private equity offering in New York with the addition of transactions lawyer Andrew Alin, who joined the firm Tuesday as a partner in its corporate practice.

Alin arrives at a firm that has grown its corporate practice significantly over the past months—particularly in New York. Earlier in the year, M&A and private equity partners Michael Gilligan and Tal Hacohen joined from Schulte Roth & Zabel and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, respectively, while capital markets partner Glenn Pollner joined from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in February last year.

Alin arrived Tuesday as a partner in Wilmer's corporate practice after seven years at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. He was previously counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
