Abbe David Lowell of Winston & Strawn on Tuesday unsuccessfully argued that the electronic monitoring ankle bracelet of his client—Matthew Grimes, the former employee and current co-defendant of Trump inaugural committee chairman Thomas Barrack—should be removed.
Lowell, who entered his appearance in the case last week, argued that Grimes, 28, poses a low risk of flight and the bracelet interferes with his daily activities.
