Former prosecutors say the lack of coordination between the Albany County District Attorney’s Office and the county sheriff’s office on the prosecution of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will only be helpful to his defense.
The misdemeanor criminal complaint signed by an investigator in Sheriff Craig Apple’s office, which charged Cuomo with forcible touching, has been mired in procedural confusion from the start.
