Attorneys at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom on Friday removed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to New York Southern District Court seeking $72 million in damages. The complaint arises from underlying bankruptcy litigation involving an effort to redevelop the George Washington Bridge. The suit was filed by Weil Gotshal & Manges on behalf of the George Washington Bridge Bus Station and Infrastructure Development Fund and the New York City Regional Center.
